How Do I Place An Order?
It’s simple. When you open the page to look at the item you want to buy, just click on the “purchase” button and follow the prompts.
Once you’ve proceeded to check out, you can “check out as a guest” or “register”. Both work well. Check out as a guest is simple and fast.
Registering means you can return more easily for further purchases and to follow the progress of your order. The only information you need to provide is a contact number, email address, delivery address and your credit-card details.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and payment through Paypal. At Helen Badge Jewellery we do not have access to credit card numbers, nor do we store details like email addresses. Our website uses the very highest-level security encryption technology (SSL).
It is also possible to pay by direct debit or money transfer. If you would like to do this, just contact andrea@helenbadge.com for more details. And remember: if you have any queries, Andrea is always at the other end of the phone or email.
What Does 'Sale Pending’ Mean And Can I Put An Item ‘On Hold’?
Sale Pending means someone has either put a deposit on an item or bought it but still has up to five days to return it.
If you are interested in an item marked as “sale pending”, it’s always worth letting Andrea know in case it becomes available again.
It is possible to put a small deposit on an item so that it then goes ‘on hold’ for 48 hours. This gives people the chance to think about the purchase in the knowledge the item can’t be bought by anyone else in the meantime. Deposits will be refunded if you decide not to proceed with the purchase.

Is It Safe To Order Online?
It is extremely safe.
Helen Badge Jewellery uses Secure Socket Layering (SSL), the highest industry standard encryption technology. It’s the system all the biggest and best on-line stores use.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share any of our customers information with any other party. We only use customer email addresses if they have signed up for our newsletter.
What Is The Refund Policy?
If you buy from Helen Badge Jewellery, and then change your mind about the purchase we will refund all your money if you let us know within five days of the item arriving.

How Quickly Do You Deliver?
We deliver in Australia with Australia Post Express Post next day delivery to Capital cities and to regional areas usually within two to three days. And to New Zealand and the UK with International Express Post – between 7 to 10 days. We deliver to most other parts of the world using secure courier systems like FedEx.
Do You Have A Store Where I Can View And Try On Rings?
We are an ‘online store’ so we don’t have an actual shop for you to visit. It is possible to make an appointment for a private viewing of a small selection of items at one of our studios – depending on your location and Andrea’s travel commitments.
Andrea is in Sydney and in Melbourne over October/Nov and December 2024.
Hand delivery is also often possible over this period.

Is It Possible To Get A Ring Sized?
Yes. If you buy a ring for yourself and you know your size, we can usually re-size it for you.
This can take a few days and will be done at cost price – usually around $70 (though this can vary if the ring needs to be made a lot bigger).
If the ring is a gift for someone else, we sometimes recommend that you make sure the recipient likes the item before sizing – as a big alteration can affect our money-back guarantee.

What Is The Advantage Of Buying Online?
An online store has a big advantage over bricks-and-mortar stores because we don’t have their huge over-heads. A city centre store often pays around 15 thousand dollars a month in rent alone and what we save, we pass on to you as lower prices for our top quality items.
